Today was a very long day!!!  Kelley woke me up at 7 AM!!!!  And we went on a bike ride.  I liked going early because it was still pretty cool outside and it felt like we had two whole days ahead of us!  The day felt soo long!!  When we got back from the bike ride, we ate some breakfast and then took a shower (at different times).  Mom, Dad, Kelley, and I had plans to go garage saling today so that's what we did!  I ended up getting two books and a DVD!  Yay!  The weather looked so stormy all day and at one point the clouds were really cool looking but Kelley was the one who took all the pictures of the clouds.  At one garage sale, Mom ran into one of her friends and her friend's grandson was with her and every time Dad looked at him he would start crying and it was so funny hahaha :)  That was seriously the cutest baby I had ever seen though!!  He was so cute!!  We stopped for lunch at a nice little place that Mom and I have eaten at before but Kelley and Dad were newbies.  Then we did some more garage saling and then we went to Sam's Club to pick up stuff for my partay tomorrow!!  We got my cake which is super cute!  There were seriously free samples for everything being sold in Sam's Club today so Kelley and I got the one for some awesome melty cookie thing with ice cream and I took a picture of her with the adorable mini spoon that came with the sample!!  Also at Sam's Club, Mom bought another pineapple that was disproportional...I think she likes disproportional pineapples...this one was the complete opposite of yesterday because it was really fat with a tiny stalk.  I took a picture of the two pineapples next to each other once we got home:

My life is so interesting hahaha :)  When we got home, Kelley cleaned her room and I did homework in her room and then we ran to town to pick up Chinese food!!  Then when we got back, Mom realized she needed more mayonnaise so after we ate dinner, we had to run to town again.  Then we went back to her room and did the same thing as before.  Kyle came home on the train and since Kelley and I already went to town twice, we let someone else go pick him up.  Now I'm going to bed!  Yay!  Tomorrow's my party and in the words of Janelle "YOGO" hahahahaha (you only graduate once (which isn't necessarily true but still funny))  :D

I have come to the realization that this picture looks super trashy hahahaha :)  So this morning I woke up all by my lonesome because Dad had disappeared somewhere and Kelley was off working.  I did some homework stuff and then I went to class.  Today was seriously melting outside.  A girl in my class said that it was 96 but the weather thing said it felt like 108!  Kill me.  On top of that, the college decided to turn the air off from 2-4 to save money...guess what time I have class....yep 1-4...cool.  The room smelled like sweaty bodies.  After class, I came home and then we had dinner and I was such a productive person!!!  I seriously worked from 6:30ish to 10ish on my speech and I feel slightly less anxious about the fact that everything in my life is due next week.  Mom went shopping to get party supplies for Saturday and she purchased that pineapple seen above.  You can't tell in the picture but the pineapple is super un-proportional because the stalk thing is way taller than the body, as seen here:

So I decided to take a picture with it and Kelley said to hold Jersey while taking the picture.  I realized that it's very hard to hold a squirming pup in one hand and a pineapple in the other which is why the picture looks like how it does haha :)  Kelley kept telling me how awesome I looked tonight because my hair was pulled back in a neck bun thing but you can't really tell in the picture.  Tomorrow, we are going to try to wake up early to get an early bike ride in! Let's see how that goes...

I woke up this morning and then did a whole lot of productive things like homework and putting my laundry away and putting all my new books on my bookshelves (which are pretty much all full now :( ) and then at 2 I had to go pick up my grandma and take her to the chiro!  We went out for lunch again afterwards so I took this picture which is like the other picture except we were done eating at this point!  I was soooo full at the end of lunch I thought I was going to explode!!  Then I drove her home and I went home too.  Kelley worked from 3-9 so I was by my lonesome for a little bit which allowed me to get even more homework done!  That's all that pretty much happened today though...nothing too exciting!

Hello friends.  So this morning all I did was stress out about giving my speech and then I went to class and it didn't even happen.  He scheduled a make-up day for next Tuesday and he asked if I wanted to go today or Tuesday and I said today but I think he misheard me because I was never offered to go....So it was just a normal class day.  I came home and Kelley and I decided to go on a bike ride.  We are extremely out of shape because we both died halfway through the loop we were doing.  This is us after the bike ride.  When we got home, it was time to eat dinner and then I mowed the grass.  After I cut the lawn, Kelley and I both started craving junk food and decided to go on a run.  During dinner, Kelley told us that this guy kept calling her store "Westy's" today (which is not accurate) and she also brought up for the third time in my presence how she has a good work ethic so when we left to go buy junk food, she left this note for Mom and Dad so they would know why we had disappeared:

We seriously zig zagged through town because we went to three different stores and they were in opposite directions.  We ended up getting ice cream popsicle things and two bags of popcorn and then we went home and watched Green Street Hooligans which was really good and giving me a heart attack during the end of it.  I recommend it and I also recommend it with subtitles because I'm pretty sure I missed half the movie because I couldn't understand them haha :)  Then we read a little bit and I went to bed.

I did pretty much the same thing as yesterday so if you want to know what I did...just look at yesterdays!!  Except that we didn't make chocolate covered pretzels tonight.  After Kelley came home from work, we had turkey burgers which she is obsessed with so Mom finally bought them the other night and we made them tonight.  After dinner, Kelley wanted to go on a bike ride but instead we ended up running into town to a store that is kind of like a Goodwill except not and the books were more expensive than Goodwill.  There were a bunch of shelves and they were all categorized nicely.  Once Kelley got to the children's section I got really bored because there were so many books there so I just sat and started pulling random books off the shelves to read.  I read a Rugrats book which was ridiculous and then I found a Harry Potter poster book from the fifth movie which I kind of flipped through and got bored but not before I saw the above picture!!!  It made me laugh because I don't understand how someone could go from looking like and then seriously like five years later look like this:

Doesn't make sense.  So I took a picture.  That's all that happened...tomorrow's my speech :(

Today was completely unexciting!!  I woke up and worked on my speech pretty much all day and all I keep thinking is that it's horrible and then I fix it and I'm happy and then I think it's horrible again...this sucks.  Around afternoonish I decided to stop stressing and just read and forget about it so that's what I did.  Now that I think about it...I really don't know where the day went because I didn't do that much but the stuff I did do didn't seem like it took that much time...hmmm.  We had a nice dinner and then I had a taste for chocolate but we were completely drained of all our chocolate resources so Kelley and I decided to make chocolate covered pretzels from her left over Tanzania fundraiser stash.  The following pictures are of Kelley demonstrating how to make the above chocolate covered pretzels.  Side note:  She unintentionally looks like a freak in all of these...that's just the way her face is.
First you take a pretzel:

Then you dip it in melted chocolate half way:

Then you shake the chocolate off of it so that it doesn't get all globby and such:

Then you dip the chocolatey side in a bowl of sprinkles:

Then you lay it on your wax paper to dry (I had to photoshop a picture of Kelley's weird face into this picture so that she is still there in spirit):

And then you get the POD which is the finished product!!  Yay!  They dried super fast and we kept eating all the broken pretzels and dipping them in the chocolate and it was soooo delicious!!!  They're super addicting so you are forewarned!!!  That was the most exciting part of my day haha :)

Today was my last day of competition ever...boo.  Since I took a four hour nap last night, I could not fall asleep when I had to so I was once again super tired when I woke up at 7 this morning.  We have a whole lot of family that lives in Wisconsin so on Thursday, Kayte decided to come to today's performance!!  She met us at the arena thing and got to watch my last competition!  I had double mini and I ended up getting 4th out of 9 and there was a tie in 6th place!  Here are my passes:

After competition we went out to lunch at a place in Madison that was super good!  They were having some sort of dog thing where everybody was allowed to bring their dogs and there were so many cute puppahs!!!  We saw a pug and Boston terrier mix and it was soooo cute!!!  After lunch, we walked around and went on top of the Monona Terrace which overlooked Lake Monona.  Someone was having a wedding there but we snuck in to a small portion of the terrace and took this picture:

We're so cute.  Afterwards, we walked to the farmer's market that was being taken down and Mom bought some awesome spiral grass that looked cool and then we went inside the capitol building which was really pretty but slightly confusing because there were hallways leading everywhere!!  Then we walked back to our car while getting lost in the process but eventually we found our way!!  We drove back to the place where the meet was being held so Kayte could get her car and then we drove back to her house!  It was a super nice visit and it's too bad that we live far away from each other :(
We got home at around 5ish and then I worked on some homework.  Kelley and I watched The Reader last night which I don't recommend if you didn't read the book because it would be so confusing hahaha and strange :)  We were pretty much laughing the whole time because Voldemort is in it :)  Then I went to bed.

Nationals Day 2!!!  I had tramp today at 8:30 so we had to leave at 5:30!!!  I woke up at 5:20 but wanted to wake up at 4:45 soooo...that sucked.  We ended up leaving at 5:45 but we still made it in time.  I competed and I thought I did pretty well but I got fifth out of five anyway.  Here is me competing (I'm the girl in the video...on the tramp that's farther away) :

So the POD is of us getting awards!  Afterwards, we went out to breakfast and then had to kill time until noonish because of the walk-in.  My coach nominates all the seniors for scholarships so we have to be there for the march-in when they announce the winners.  So we got back at the arena place at 12 and then sat in the stands for a little bit until it was 12:30 so I decided to go meet up with my team.  The march-in was supposed to be at 1 but it started at almost 2 so I was sitting in the freezing basement with loud kids for almost two hours.  It really sucked.  Then we walked in and the only benefit of being nominated for scholarships was that we got to sit on comfy chairs instead of the ground.  It lived up to my expectations and then we learned that nationals next year is going to be in Florida...thanks, USTA...thanks.  We learned at the walk-in that our team got a first place team trophy for sub advanced synchro tramp thanks to me and Lani!  Yay!  I'm glad of my contribution!
The walk-in ended at 3ish and then we headed home and I fell asleep on the way home and then we stopped for ice cream at this small place and they had HUGE proportions and I almost threw up before I was even close to finishing my shake thing so I had to save it for later.  When we finally got home, I went straight to bed and Mom and I slept from 5ish to a little after 9...that was a nice nap haha :)  Now Kelley's home and we may or may not watch a movie...?  Double mini tomorrow!!

First day of nationals!!!  Nationals were in Madison, Wisconsin this year so we decided to not stay in a hotel and just drive back and forth for the three days that I have to compete.  Today I had synchro trampoline!!  It was at 12:30 so we left the house at 8:30ish and ended up getting there kind of super early.  We only competed against one other team and we ended up getting first.  Here we are being synchronized:

We're so awesome.  I was literally shaking for minutes after we were done because trampoline makes me so nervous!!  But we ended up doing pretty great in my opinion!!  Our synch score ended up being 8.6 out of 10!!!!  I'm pretty happy with that!!  Our overall score was 49.6!  We got first.  The POD is us in first except my partner had to compete on floor at the time we were receiving the award so she couldn't be there so I was all by my lonesome.  Here is me with the trophy:

Yay!  This was my only nationals first place trophy haha :)  After competition, Mom, Kelley, and I went out to lunch at Chipotle and then we went into bookstores and then headed home.  When we got home, Kelley, Jill, and I went 45 minutes away to a Salvation Army and Goodwill in a town and got LOADS of books!  The Salvation Army seriously had a huge wall just stacked with books.  Jill and I had to tear Kelley away from them because we were there for almost 2 hours and we were done with looking through all the books!  Here they are being weirdos with the cart full of books:

After that, we went home and then I ate soup and then went to bed to get ready for my second day of competition!

As I mentioned yesterday, today I had a date with my grandma!!!  I woke up at 9 this morning and took a shower and then headed out with Kelley to go pick up my grandma.  She and Kelley both had chiro appointments today and she told me to come with so she could take us out to breakfast.  After the chiro, we went to a local restaurant and she ordered the French toast from the kids' menu because she's so tiny hahaha :)  I took this candid picture of her while she was eating.  Afterwards, we sat in the restaurant for a little bit and talked and then we drove her home.  Kelley drove to town and did some stuff with her check and then we went home and sat in the pool and read.  We are both extremely burnt right now which is not fun!!  I finished my book and we went to town again to see if they had the movie version but sadly it was rented out.  When we got back home, Dad decided to pick out his clothes for his interview for tomorrow and we realized he had nothing good so we had to go to town once more to go pick out a shirt.  We just got home and tomorrow I have to get up early because it's my first day of nationals!!!!!  I'm so excited because tomorrow is synchro!!  Yay!!

Jersey pictures never get old...right?  So what happened today was pretty much what I expected to happen yesterday...nothing.  I woke up at 9 so that I could shower and do stuff before I had class but all I did was read.  I was all alone this morning because Dad was somewhere and Kelley was working.  I went to class and then when I came home, I found out my dad got an interview for a job!!  Yay!  Then I joined Kelley who was reading in the pool.  I finished my book and then started a new one.  We had a delicious dinner and then I read some more.  At one point, Jersey joined me in reading and I decided to give her a book hat which is pictured above.  She was being super cute tonight but she's always super cute so it was nothing more :)  Tomorrow, I have a date with my grandma!!

Today started off as one of those days where I assumed I would not have a POD because nothing exciting would happen.  I ended up taking a picture of Jersey being cute in case nothing happened in my life, but gladly that was not the case for today!!!  I woke up at 9ish this morning because I was supposed to take my grandma to the chiro but Kelley ended up taking her instead because she had an appointment too!  While they were gone, I took Jersey outside, got the mail, unloaded/loaded the dishwasher, and did part of my laundry!!  When Dad got home at like 1ish, he almost had a heart attack from all the stuff I did haha.  Kelley got off work at 4 and then we went swimming in our pool for the first time of the summer!  It was really nice and warm and we took under water pictures but Kelley's camera batteries soon died so we didn't take very many.  We only got about one good one and the other ones did not work out.  After swimming, we ate dinner and then Kelley and I decided to go book hunting at Goodwill and The Salvation Army with our beloved BCF!  So we picked Jill up and went to town!!  The picture above is Kelley in The Salvation Army after we went to Goodwill.  We went to two Goodwills and The Salvation Army and she pretty much looked like this in all three stores...with books falling out of her arms!  She got so many books!!!  At the first Goodwill, I ran into this book, which Kelley needs but she decided to pass up this specific printing of the book because the little Chewbacca scared all of us hahaha I dare you to look at the cover without laughing:

 The second Goodwill we went to was about 20 minutes away from the town we were already in so we stopped by Little Caeser's so Jill could get crazy bread before we headed out!  When we finally reached the other Goodwill, it was 8:45 and they were closing at 9 and this Goodwill had a HUGE selection of books so we had to quickly scan before leaving but we all got something there!!  Yay!  Then we headed home and stopped at McDonald's to get some drinks and that was my first time ever ordering at a drive thru!!  Kelley filmed the whole experience in case anybody was wondering.  We dropped Jill off at home and then we headed home and I spent the rest of the night helping Kelley alphabetize her books and making a list so that she knows all that she has!  Now I'm tired and will probably be going to bed!!

Happy Father's Day!!!  Above is the gifties all us chillins got Dad!!  Kelley and I got Dad a nice food/drink basket and Kyle got Dad that DVD.  I woke up this morning to Kelley telling me to wake up because she gave Dad his present.  Then Kelley made us all omelets for breakfast!!  Then Kelley went to work and I read.  Some time in the afternoon, my mom asked if I wanted to go to town with her to look for some stuff for my grandma and also some outside stuff like pots and dirt.  I said sure so we went to town.
We had  a delicious bar-b-que chicken thing for dinner and then after dinner, Dad, Kelley, and I went on a boat ride at Grandma's house!!  It was super peaceful and Kelley and I were singing Disney songs so that was great haha :)  While on the boat, we saw this:

It was flying over the lake and the parachute thing was really pretty. After the boat ride, we needed to snap the cover back on the boat and Kelley had a sweatshirt so she tied it around her waist like a weirdy and then posed like this:

Look at those toned legs!!!  She's the coolest...obviously.
Then we went back home and Jill came over for a reading party!!!  Yay!!  We read and talked about things and Kelley fell asleep super early so it was just me and Jill for a while.  At one point Kelley woke up and told us to be quiet because Mom and Dad were sleeping and we just stared at her and when I asked her about it this morning, she said she doesn't remember that happening haha :)  Jill went home at around 2 and then I finished my book and went to sleep too.  HAPPY FATHER'S DAY, AGAIN!!

Today was a whole lot of nothing.  Mom made French toast and then I had a chiro appointment at 10.  Kelley worked ten hours today so my day was Kelley-less.  I alternated reading and working on my speech and that was pretty much it!  Mom and Dad worked on spreading mulch outside and then we had BLTs for lunch which are just BTs for me.  Then after they were done doing stuff outside, we had dinner and then took a shower and changed into this stupid outfit.  He's wearing navy shorts and a navy shirt.  I told him he wasn't allowed to do that so naturally he became my POD.
It was very humid out today and it kept alternating between being overcast and being rainy.  On the bright side, I looked at the pool today and it is almost super clean!!  You can actually see the bottom now which is always a good thing!!  Now Dad's watching a movie he got for father's day and Kelley is sleeping on the couch, accompanying him.

Today the fam and I went sailing!  And by sailing, I mean of the garage variety!!  Kelley is looking for apartment/future classroom stuff and I'm looking for books!!  Here are all the books I bought today!!  Yay!  I love people who are willing to get rid of their books even if I don't understand their reasoning!!  I decided to get all the Lord of the Rings books even though I read The Hobbit once and wanted to stab myself the whole boring time it was happening.  Maybe I was too young at the time...?  Kelley was able to find a plate set of 15 plates!!!  That's a lot of plates!!  After trying to do the math, she figured she could now have 13 guests at her apartment!!  At the place where she got the plates, I took this picture:

If you look closely, you can see a daddy long-legs on the spider book :)  We found this funny :)  Also, today at two different places we went to, Kelley and I were asked if we were twins.  TWO DIFFERENT PLACES!!!  This was the first time we were asked this though...but jeez.  Then we went home and Kelley went to work and I took a two hour nap!  After that, I worked on some speech stuff and then read and that was pretty much it.  Yay for new additions to my books shelf :)

Today was a busy, busy day!  I woke up at 9 and had breakfast and showered before I headed over to my high school to pick up my transcripts.  The transcripts weren't ready so I told them I would go back after I had class.  When I got home, I ate lunch and read before heading off to my speech class.  After speech, I went to my school for a second time and this time they handed me my transcripts so yay!!  I went home and we had dinner and after dinner Kelley and I decided to run to town.  Before we left, Mom was watering the plants and the hose was very enthusiastic about its job so I took a picture :)
We went to World Market at one point and I saw this:

It's the original Harry Potter sauce...obviously.
After shopping in that town, we had to go to a different town to pick up a recommendation!  I'm applying for a scholarship that needs to be postmarked by tomorrow and I needed my transcripts and two recommendations and I forgot about the scholarship until Monday so it's been crunchy trying to get everything together.  I also had to write an essay about a subject I knew nothing about so I did that tonight and it wasn't very good but I don't think I can do any better.
While we were in town, Kelley and I picked up The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo movie and we just finished watching it.  It was 2 hours and 30 minutes but it was super good.  It followed the book very well and they didn't make it into a somewhat horror movie which means I liked it!  They could have easily made some parts really scary but they toned it down!  Now I'm going to bed.

I did not sleep well at all last night because I was stressed about speech.  Someone seriously needs to give me anti anxiety pills gah.  I kept waking up thinking I missed giving a speech or something and it was super annoying and the result was that I slept later than I wanted but oh well!  So I woke up and read a little thing in my book for my comp class and then I went online and did the discussion for the section I read.  I was stressing out because we had to take a quiz on it and we only got twelve minutes and I was afraid it would be super hard and I would need more time...then I took the quiz and it literally took me thirty seconds.  The POD is my result.  I wish it told me how long it took so that I could laugh at it hahaha it was so great.
After that, Kelley and I watched Lion King because she was begging me to watch it and waiting all morning for me to do my online stuff so I finally said yes.  Then I worked on some speech stuff and I read a little bit and then I had tumbling.  This was my last practice ever :(  It was sad but I didn't really feel like it was my last practice so I didn't get that sad.  I hadn't been sad for any of my "lasts" this year.  Either I'm just really unemotional or things just don't hit me yet haha.  Whateves.  Now I just did some more speech stuff.  Yay!

Today was a day full of my wanting to vomit all over the place.  I woke up at 9 this morning and I was super tired.  I took a shower and then I went over to my high school to request a transcript.  I was not looking forward to this because I don't really like dealing with the people in the guidance office and I was afraid they would be mad that I wanted a copy of my transcripts.  It turned out all right though because there was only one lady in there and she was nice to me.

After that, I came home and ate lunch and read while the time slowly ticked down for me to go to my wonderful speech class.  This was the second thing I was dreading today.  I was on the verge of both running away and puking while walking into the building.  For those who don't know...I absolutely hate talking in front of people.  When he said we had to give a little introductory of someone we interviewed in class, the first thing that popped into my head was how I could somehow get out of there before I had to do it.  I don't know why I hate it so much because it really isn't that big of a deal but I just hate when people watch me.  The best part of the day happened when he said our first speech will be next Thursday which is the only day I have to miss because I have competition so that means I have to make it up next Tuesday...can't wait.
Then I went home and as soon as I got home, we went to pick up Kelley from the airport!!!!!  This was the only happy thing that happened to me today :)  Her flight was delayed twice which was awesome because originally I wasn't able to go with since I was in class!  I took this picture of her right after we picked her up while she was showing me things she had bought.  We stopped at Culver's and got ice cream and then we spent the night looking at her pictures from Africa!!  I think I'm going to start some homework now...yay.

Today was my first day of college and I did absolutely nothing!!  I signed online at like 11 and looked over the syllabus and then spent the rest of the day reading haha :)  I also worked on a scholarship.  I'm pretty content with the way things currently are with my classes.  My first in class class is tomorrow and I'm nervous because it's speech...bleh.
Today was so hot again but it felt hotter than the past two days because it was very humid today!  I was scared to go to tumbling because I was sweating just sitting on the couch!!  And let me tell you, I sure did sweat at tumbling tonight!  Since nationals is coming up, they marked our sticks and we needed two for each pass on double mini and three for our tramp pass and I stuck all of the required ones!!!  I NEVER stick anything!!  The POD are the marks I got for sticking my double mini passes.  My coach was so proud of me!!  (side note: I just forgot how to spell coach and kept typing couch and then wondering why it looked wrong haha)

She was seriously so hot today so she just kept moving around to different areas and laying there to see if she would be cooler in that spot.  As you can see in the second picture, she looked dead.
Story time:
This happened last night after I already wrote my blog so I'm including it into today's post.  Last night when I was sitting at my computer after already writing my blog post, I hear a whimper float up through my bedroom floor from the basement.  It was obviously my pup.  Mom and I were both very concerned and thought she was trapped in a closet or something in the basement so we went down to rescue her.  We turned on the lights and walked all the way to Kelley's bedroom and Jersey was sitting at the end of the bed.  Apparently she was afraid to jump off the bed so she barked for someone to come rescue her.  When she saw us, she got off the bed and was so happy to see us.  She's ridiculous.  That's all.

I did nothing today but my parents did a whole lot of not nothing!!!  They spent all of yesterday and today staining the deck and they finished!!!  I took this picture of them through the window...as you can see from the screen.  Mom's hiding behind the slide and Dad is painting the railing thing.  I devoted my whole day to finishing my book and I did!!  Now I'm a lost soul without another book in the series :(  I seriously recommend those books to anyone because they were so interesting!  And intense!  Although somewhat far fetched but that's okay.
It was like 90 degrees out again today and we got a call in the afternoon saying that my grandma passed out in church and that she was taken to the hospital.  She ended up leaving very quickly because she was just dehydrated and now is she is feeling much better so YAY!
My online class starts tomorrow and I would be nervous but it's online so I don't really care haha :)  But this means my summer is kind of already over :(  Boo.  Hopefully it'll be enjoyable though...?

Today was Kyle's 24th birthday!!  Happy birthday Kyle!!!!!!  It was also one of the busier days I've had in a while!!  Mom made breakfast this morning and then I took a shower and prepared myself for my bike ride with Jill!  We decided last night to go on a bike ride down a path that extends pretty far out in our town.  I picked her up at 11 and then we rode to an easy starting place for the route.  This is the same path that Jill, Kelley, and I are planning to take during the summer but since Kelley wasn't home, we decided to head in the opposite direction of our goal.
I took this picture of Jill at our first water break!!  We made it really far without stopping for water which we couldn't determine if that was a good or bad thing.  It was about 90 degrees out today so we were both hot but it wasn't too overwhelming.  Eventually, we biked to the end of the route which was apparently the border to Wisconsin.  I took a picture of the sign:

We're so awesome.  Once we got there, we turned around.  On the way home, we stopped in a town and got ice cream and I bought a graduation card for Carlee.  It was a wonderful stop.  Then we got on with our adventure and we both got really tired on the way back.  When we saw the roads that meant we were close to where we started, we were overwhelmed with joy!  We headed home after the bike ride and a took a shower and then read a little bit and then ate dinner.  After dinner, I headed over to Carlee's house for her graduation party!!  It was super great but I was really exhausted from my bike ride.  I left at 9:30ish and now I'm about to pass out!  Yay for actually doing something with my life today!!

This is my dog.  She's crazy.

So after I woke up this morning, I was faced with this little nugget peaking out of the bar things in my bed :)  She's so cute :)  The whole day felt like Saturday today because Mom doesn't work Fridays over the summer so both the 'rents were home and I kept getting really confused.  I pretty much spent the whole day reading since I finished my book last night and it did not end satisfactorily so I had to start The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest right away...obviously.  I really don't know what happened to my day because I woke up fairly early but apparently all I did was read and mow the lawn...I felt like the time went super fast though...I don't know.  I miss my sissy :(  But she's being awesome in Africa so I guess I'll just have to wait a few more days until she comes home.

Today I actually kind of did something with my life!!!  I woke up at 7 for some unimaginable reason but I went to bed again at 8 so it was all good.  After I woke up, I headed to our community college to visit Mom!  I went so that we could pick up the books I needed for my summer classes and also so I wouldn't get lost when I tried to find my class since the building is under construction.  Since I was halfway there, I decided to head over to Barnes & Noble.  Every time I go here, I miss my Borders :(  Boo.  My they rest in peace.  In the parking lot, I parked behind someone with a Iowa sticker!!  Yay!!  So I took a picture of both the store and the sticker!
After this, I came home and read outside.  It was super nice and I got really hot but it was still nice.  Dad came home some time around 4ish and he taught me how to make tuna haha so I was able to have a tuna sandwich for dinner.  I'm so close to finishing my book!

I CLEANED MY ROOM TODAY!!!  If you can see what's on my monitor...it's the before picture of my desk but if I can't see it...here's a closer look:

Yay!  I'm so glad to be able to see everything that's in front of me now!!  What you also can't see in either the before or after pictures is the crazy stack of college letters I have received over the course of three years.  Here is my stack of college letters:

I spent some time today shredding these which took about an hour to get rid of almost half.  In the beginning of the day, I just read again.  I ate lunch outside and since a part for our pool came in yesterday, Dad was able to improve the quality of the water even though the bottom is still really green.  Here's the updated pool:

I swear the water's clear and that color is just from the bottom.  And here is the picture of my buddy that was with me today:

She is now able to walk on the deck without falling into the pool so I think that means she learned her lesson :)  The clouds kept going in front of the sun while I was outside and it was making me cold so I went inside and that's when I cleaned my room.  Yay!  Then I went to tumbling.

Hello friends!  I woke up at 11 o'clock today which did not leave much to do with my life.  Dad asked if I wanted to cut my grandma's grass so I said sure.  My grandma owns a piece of property that only has a garage on it so my dad and I mow the grass for her.  After we cut the grass, we also trimmed a lot of the crap trees that are on the property and ended up filling two garbage bins with branches, some of which had thorns.  Boo.  So I took a picture of the garbage bins.  When we got home, I read outside some more and then Dad made dinner for us.  After dinner, Mom and I signed myself up for our community college's website thing for students because I have classes starting Monday...woo.  And now I finished my night by finishing The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo!!!  Yay!!  It was really good and I recommend it!  I promise it isn't too horrifying!!  Now I would like to watch the movie although I just watched the trailer and it looks scary so I need a friend who is willing to watch it with me and who preferably doesn't mind awkward scenes.  Also, I just watched the trailer for The Perks of Being a Wallflower which I have also read and was also very good and also looks like a good movie!!  I recommend that book to anyone who likes inspiring/depressing books about outcasts/life.  That's all for today.

Today was super uneventful!!  I woke up at 9:30ish and laid in bed for awhile and then finally got up!  I read a little bit and then ate lunch.  It was such a beautiful day outside so I decided to go sit by the pool and read a little bit!  So this is a picture of me reading!  Yay!  As you can see behind me, the pool is still disgusting as heck.  You can't even see the bottom which makes me want to vomit.  After I got hot sitting outside in the beautiful sun, I went back inside and read some more.  Dad made dinner and then after dinner I had to go to tumbling!  That's pretty much all that happened....yep.
