Happy last day of April!!  Today was a very good day even though more than half of my friends were missing :(  On Sundays I'm usually all, "boo school's tomorrow" but yesterday I was all, "I don't care, we're not doing anything" which makes my weekends a lot happier!!!  I was not looking forward to today, however, because all my choir friends (which make up a majority of my friends) were gone on a choir field trip.  Boo.  BUT THEN!!  In first hour we're doing summaries on different books we have read throughout our high school lives as a reminder of what happened and one person who went today did The Catcher in the Rye and he showed this video by John Green!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I had a mini heart attack of happiness watching his face in class!!!  AHHH!!  It seriously made the rest of my day!!!  Arzu told me in second hour I should have taken a picture but I never thought of it so instead I just took a screen shot of the video :)  Best. Moment. Ever.
Then in third hour I found out I didn't have to tutor because they were testing in the library which was a nice break to be able to study for my ap tests!!!!!  After that I had lunch in which I sat by myself cause, as I previously mentioned, all my friends were gone :(  It was me, another kid sitting in the corner of the room, and the substitute teacher playing on the piano the whole time.  Whateves.
I got to turn in my econ book today which is the official sign of that class never happening again in my life.  And we got to spend that class period doing whatever we wanted so Cari and I worked more on our math project!  Then we worked on it some more in math!
When I got home, I did some homework, took a nice nap, ate dinner, and did some more stuff.  It was pretty unexciting.  Yay!  I loved today!

Today I was accompanied by Cari to work on our math project!  She came over at 1:30ish and we got to work by cutting out the cardboard from a box and then we mapped out our awesome game and then we spent the rest of the time painting!  It doesn't look like much, but it took us quite a while.  For calc, we have a final project that we have to complete and it could be a number of things but Cari and I decided to do a board game because that was probably the easiest.  We did a rendition of Chutes and Ladders and called it Slopes and 'totes (the "'totes" being an abbreviation for asymptotes :) ) to give it a more mathy/calculusy title!  We're going to make cards that have calculus problems on them and that you have to solve in order to move spaces instead of using dice but we haven't gotten that far yet.  And we also used buttons for the little markers because buttons are cute!!  Also, the board is laid out like the symbol pi!!!  We're just the coolest ever :)  And we were evil and put a chute on the second-to-last square that goes to the first square hahaha we suck :)  Cari said she would just give up if she landed on that haha :)  When we were finished, we ate dinner and then Cari went home.  We might have to put a patent on this cause it's just so awesome :)  That's pretty much all my Sunday consisted of!

Today was state!!!  My first competition was at 10:30 but we had to get there an hour early and it was a three hour drive so I woke up at 5:30 and we left the house at six...oh boy.  I slept the whole car ride down but it was such a strange sleep because I could still kind of tell what was going on but I was so passed out and my leg kept falling asleep but I never changed positions so I just laid there thinking how much my leg hurt haha.  But finally we got there!  I competed on double mini first which was a relief to get that over with because I have been stopping all the time in practice but I ended up tying in second which was almost a three-way tie but Lani ended up getting first by .1 :)  There were six of us in the group but two people were from Wisconsin.  Illinois has more tumblers than Wisconsin does so some Wisconsin people come to our state meet but since it is state they don't count in the end because they're not from Illinois so I was technically competing against four people and the other two were competing against themselves.  Then we went to Potbelly's to eat because we were starving from not having breakfast.  When we got back to the field house thing we were at, a lady called all the athletes onto the floor.  The march-in is tomorrow but I don't compete tomorrow since I don't do floor so she wanted to recognize the advanced athletes and the senior athletes that won't be there tomorrow which was me and another girl from my team.  We were called up to get this puppy thing and it was so awkward.  I felt awkward.  Right when we were dismissed they called me to go to tramp so I did.  In practice, a girl in the group before me ended up flying off the end of the trampoline in the middle of a back tuck and landed on the ground on her stomach and it was really scary cause I was seriously standing RIGHT THERE!  Lani later said we probably should have tried to help her but that never crossed my mind...oops.  After that girl, I had to get on to warm up and then the three girls that competed after her all stopped in the middle of their passes...sooo that was great :)  But I finished my pass which was another relief and I also got second again!  There were only four of us and one was from Wisconsin (and I technically tied with her).
I fell asleep on the way home again and we ended up stopping to pick up Chinese food to have for dinner!  I read some from Frankenstein and kept falling asleep while doing that and I just woke up a little bit ago haha :)  Today was pretty relieving :)

Today after school I helped out at spaghetti dinner at my old elementary school.  They fed us spaghetti and while I was eating I ran into Emily and Madison so they ate with me :)  At one point I told them the garlic bread was spicy but they didn't believe me and then a little boy down the table later said that he thought the garlic bread was spicy and I was taking a picture of them right when he said that so here is a picture of their reactions to this:

It's pretty great :D  So my job at spaghetti dinner was to paint people's faces...not okay.  Luckily I had to leave at 6 so it only left me an hour to paint faces but unluckily, I was still stuck painting two people's face....I'm sorry people.  It seriously looked like crap.  I had to draw a cat face and then a bat all over two little kids' faces while their parents watched me make them look worse and worse the more I added!  Gahh!!  It was so bad!  When another girl sat down to get painted I quickly stood up and said I had to leave because I did not want to get sucked into ruining more people's faces!!
I left at six so Janelle and I could go to my school's musical!!  The musical was Pippin and the POD is of Collin being Charles the Great.  It was a really good show but the ending was strange haha :)  Tomorrow's the last night of the performance and I really wanted to go to it but I have state tomorrow so I'll be far away but maybe I'll make it back in time...?  Haha now I'm tired and I really need to go to bed cause I'm getting up super early tomorrow to go to state.  I loved seeing Janelley poo tonight!!!

Today was a very normal day.  In psych we took a practice ap test which reassured me for that test because I felt like I was relatively ready to take the test even if I didn't know all the things they were talking about.  So I feel slightly better now.  In econ, we aren't doing anything except studying for the test so all the people who aren't taking the ap test got to go to a different room and have pretty much a study hall.  I decided to take a picture of Katie doing her work because I was bored.  I felt bad because I kept distracting her from doing her homework because I had nothing to do!  In calc, we have a project due on May 10th so Cari and I decided to work on our project instead of reviewing.  Then I came home and the strangest thing happened.  I walked in my house and nobody else was home (that's not the strange part).  I heard this really loud ringing thing coming from the end of my hallway so I walked down there thinking it was the fire alarm or something but it wasn't and it sounded like it came from my room so I went into my room and it got really loud.  Then I thought it was my alarm clock but it wasn't that either but it was coming from my desk area and I had no idea what it was until I picked up my phone.  It was making a very loud pitched, continuous ringing noise and it only turned off after I pushed the talk button and turned it off again...it was very strange and I have no idea what it means...
I also had tumbling tonight since we have state this weekend far away and the coaches are all leaving tomorrow night so they moved practice to tonight instead!  I picked up Pride and Prejudice from the library after school because we need to read one book on the ap list for lit and I decided to read this one since it's really famous so I also read some of that tonight.

Straight hurr!  So as I said in yesterday's post, I straightened my hair for dance last night.  Today was another weird day for school so I decided to keep it straight.  For the past two days, the freshmen, sophomores, and juniors have been taking state testing and such but seniors don't have to so instead we have senior service day on the first day and then a rando day where we can either 1) job shadow 2) go on a college visit or 3) do ap things.  I did the ap things because I had to fill out non-test items.  We had to get there at nine in the morning and then we had a chance to study with our teachers but all my teachers pretty much said it wasn't really worth it so I went to a little bit of lit and then I went home and got home around 10ish.  Soooo....I didn't feel like getting ready this morning so I kept my straight hair!  Yay!  It's been a pretty great last two days though!  I like this half day of school business.  When I came home, I read and then filled out loan stuff for Iowa and then I headed off to tumbling.  That was pretty much my very exciting day :)  Tomorrow's a regular day again but we're all studying now so it won't be too bad!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE BEST DOGGIE IN THE WHOLE WORLD!!!!  So today was Jersey's tenth puppy birthday!!  Here is a nice picture of her on her birthday celebrating it with style:

Today was senior service day so I went back to my elementary school to help out.  It was the first time I had been in there since I left way back in fifth grade!  It was crazy!!  None of my teachers are there anymore but there were a few familiar faces and everything was so much smaller than I remember.  Like the stage which we are standing in front of.  How did we use to have performances on that?!  And the rock wall was set up in the gym and it was so tiny!!  For service, I went to a classroom and the kids read to me from their books and I helped them if they needed it but most of them didn't.  Then I helped set up the cafeteria for the school's annual spaghetti dinner and then made name tags for the workers at the spaghetti dinner.  Me, Arzu, and Cari took a stroll around the school and Arzu and I reminisced about the hallways and the classrooms and such.  Then we went to the cafeteria to watch the kids eat and we took this picture with all the people that were there for senior service day.  We left at noon and since I live like a mile from the school, I just went home.  There was a senior picnic but I didn't feel like going.
I took a nap and then ate lunch and then read.  I had dance pictures tonight so I straightened my hair and then headed off to go take beautiful pictures!!  I had a pretty great day! :D  Happy Birthday, Jersey!!

So today I officially finished the last of my regular tests for my classes (except for econ but I don't count that cause I don't care)!  I had an in-class write in English today which I think I did pretty bad on and then a psych test right after that which I thought I did bad on but surprisingly did well on it even though I didn't study at all.  Then right after psych I had to make up another English test which I also feel like I did horribly on because the worst place in the school to take a test is in the library because it is the loudest place in the school.  I felt bad because I seriously was just filling in bubbles without thinking about it!  I was so distracted!!  But now those are all over with and we can study for the AP tests!!!  Yay!!!  I took a picture of my assignment notebook to show that for the first time in the whole year I did not have any homework that needed to be done!  (Except for the four questions which I don't really consider homework cause it's part of the reviewing).  This means school is officially almost over!  And tomorrow is senior service day and SOMEONE'S SPECIAL DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Yay!  I spent the whole day taking a nap and reading!  It felt so good to do nothing!!

Happy Earth Day!!!  Today Key Club had adopt-a-highway which I'm assuming was planned seeing as it was Earth Day!  So I woke up this morning to the sounds of my parents talking loudish and excitedly and then I heard my uncle so it all made sense.  Mom made breakfast and then I took a shower and did some homework before I headed on my way to school to be part of the chain gang.  When I went to get into my car to head to school, I tried unlocking the doors with my remote but it didn't work so I figured my remote just stopped working because it kind of sucked anyway so I unlocked it with my key and went to start my car and nothing happened.  My car has this annoying light thing that if you twist all the way to one side, it keeps your interior lights on forever and I accidentally twisted it so that my lights stayed on and my battery died...boo.  I was able to take my dad's car to school though.
Not many people showed up today so we broke up into two groups which weren't very proportional.  Ours had like six people and the other one had about three or something.  One group went one direction on our road and the other group went the other direction.  Our Key Club owns the road our school is on for adopt-a-highway so it is our job to clean it twice a year.  In this picture, we were heading out to the road from our school and it was super bright and my phone was hard to see and I wasn't tall enough to get everybody so this is what happened haha :)  I like my face so I chose this one out of the others that were taken :)  Our group took three garbage bags and we ended up filling all three of them before we got to the point where we could turn around to come back to the school.  I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing but at least all that garbage is picked up now!!  Here are all the bags after we were done:

Boo.  People make me sad :(  The number one item was beer bottles which surprisingly weren't shattered.  We also found part of a headlight stuck in a tree hahaha :)  Yay for being Earthy I guess!!  Too bad people can't learn to throw out their crap themselves!
When I came home, I did more homework then took a nap.  When I woke up from my nap I was really confused because I thought I slept through the night and I was confused about why I was still in my clothes and such and then I realized it was just a nap.  I ate somewhat of a dinner which was just chips and salsa and then mowed the grass which was a very cold experience since the sun was going down and it was really windy out.  Then I came in and did more homework...yay!!  Tomorrow is pretty much my last academic school day because I'm having my last English in class write and my last psych test and after these two things, we're going to be studying for the AP tests!  Yay!!

Happy 93rd birthday to the best great grandma in the whole entire world!!!!!  Pictured above is my great-grandma who turned 93 today if you couldn't figure it out :)  I took this paparazzi picture of her while I was visiting today!!  I had a chiro appointment today and then we went to Grandma's house, picked up my prom dress, and traveled all over the place to find booty shorts for dance.  Yay!  Then I did homework/took a nap/ read for the rest of the day!  I miss Julia :(  at least I have Jersey though haha :)
So happy birthday to one of the greatest grandmas a person could ask for!  She's such an inspiration to everybody that meets her!  I'm always happy to call her my grandma because she is such a wonderful lady and it's great being able to know wonderful people in my life :)  I love you grandma!!!  Here's to 93 more spectacular years :)!

Today was a sad day :(  It was the exchange students' last day in America (for now).  All day I was thinking about Julia going home and I got really sad in gym class :(  Mehh :(  We had macaroni and cheese for dinner tonight and then we headed over to the school to say goodbye.  Here is a picture of the teachers/ host students/ exchange students.  People were crying because a lot didn't want to leave and then we had to walk them out to the buses and nobody wanted to get on.  When I'm sad I tend to laugh a lot because I don't like being sad and I don't like seeing other people cry so I laugh awkwardly.  I did shed tears though on the final hug before she got on the bus :(  And then I took this picture:

Awww :)  She's so cute :)  I'm not going to Germany this summer with a lot of the other people but I do plan on seeing Julia again sometime in my life ;)  I told her today that it was not a "goodbye" but a "see ya later" :)  Because we need to see each other again and I need to go to Germany sometime in my life and she needs to come back this summer :) Haha :)
I was really nervous about hosting someone back when I said I would because I'm so awkward and I don't know how to entertain people so I was afraid I would be boring (which I probably was :) ).  But the three weeks went way too fast and I feel like it could have been three months and it still would have gone too fast!!!  I had such a good time and I hope Julia did too!!  I miss her already :(  Here's to a safe flight back!

Hello!  So today I got really sick :(  I felt really bad because Julia felt bad and I didn't want her to feel bad :)  Anyway, the Germans met the mayor of our town while we were in school which sounds pretty boring but it might be interesting...?  I was supposed to go pick up my prom dress from the fitting but we didn't have time because there was a farewell dinner at the school tonight!  We had pizza and other stuff which included some amazing brownies!!  They were soooo good!!  At the dinner, the exchange students handed out these pretty roses for their host families!!  Yay!  After the dinner, we stayed to watch part of the dress rehearsal for the spring musical at my school.  I forgot to bring a camera so I don't have a picture.  We left half way through because, like I said, Julia felt bad for me :(  We went to Wal-Mart so Julia could find some stuff to bring back to her 'rents and then we came home and watched the news until it was time to go to bed!  Hoorah!  It was her last night in America :(  Boo.

Today we went to Chicago!!!  It was a great break from school, let me tell you!  We had to be at the train station at 7:30ish and then we boarded the train at 7:40ish.  The conductor made us pack all into the top row of the train because he wanted us all together and for some reason he would not let us sit on the bottom seats.  Julia said she felt like she was being shipped to a prison so here is a picture of us packed in tight on top!:

We arrived to Chicago and then headed over to Millennium Park.  The Face Fountain was activated and I was really happy because I kept trying to tell Julia about it but it's really hard to explain so I was glad she got to see the full affect.  Here is a picture of her standing by the Face Fountain:

They had really ugly faces today for some reason.  They were all really old and it was kind of upsetting!  Then we walked over to the bean where we took the POD of the whole group that went to Chicago.  Julia and I also took a picture together of our reflections because we're cute so here is that picture to share with you!:

Aren't we just adorable!?!?  Then the group headed over to Buckingham Fountain which was also sprouting its wondrous spurts of water!!!  Every time I see the Buckingham Fountain, I think of Jill and the tiny squirt of a water fountain she thought was the Buckingham Fountain that one time...:D hahaha  Here is a picture of the fountain in all its glory:

As you can see from the picture, it shoots pretty high up in the air!!  It was kind of windy today so all the water was spraying us and we were all getting wet and we were so far away!!  We kept getting farther and farther but we were still getting soaked!!  Some people were holding umbrellas to protect themselves :)  After seeing the fountain, we were told to break up into groups to wander Chicago by ourselves.  Our group consisted of six people and we decided to walk to the restaurant Dick's Last Resort where the waiters are intentionally mean to you.  Our waiter wasn't too bad but he did make fun of Julia and he kept pushing my hat over my face.  One waitress yelled at us because we were staring at her and we laughed hahaha :)  The same lady also made one person from the group she was waiting on serve the drinks to the people haha  It was pretty entertaining :)  At this restaurant, they also make hats out of paper and write inappropriate/crude things on them.  Here are pictures of the six of us in our hats:

Mine said "Can't wait to start stripping" hahaha :)  I felt like it really described who I was as a person :D  If you look closely in the first picture, the guy between me and Julia has a really funny but inappropriate hat :)  When we went to tip our waiter, we did half the tip in bills and the other half in change because we wanted to be obnoxious.  Since we had so many coins, we decided to do this with them:

hahaha :)  One of the girls even put half dollars in there :)  When we walked out, our hats were hitting things and the workers yelled at us to stop touching their things :)  Then we walked around the city wearing our hats and everyone was staring at us and a lot of people thought we made them ourselves haha :)  We went into a gift shop to spend some time and the Germans bought some things.  Then we headed back to meet the rest of the group and we walked back to the train station and went home!  After we got home, Julia and I went to Barnes and Noble because we're nerds and we spent a nice time in there looking at the beautiful books!  We headed home then I stayed up really late finishing my homework!  Hoorah!  It was a pretty great day and I had a lot of fun!

Today was not a very exciting day for both me and Julia.  I had normal school and she got to walk around to different classes to see what they were like but it sounded pretty boring haha :)  She said they got to visit the Chinese classroom though which I have never been to and I don't even know where it is!!  Mom made chocolate cookies after dinner and she also froze some cookie dough balls and we're in heaven :)!  Then I had dance and Julia and Mom went shopping.  When we came home, Julia and I looked at money.  I taught her the names of our coins and who was on each of them so now she knows more about them than most Americans! :)  Here is a picture of the cookies, American and German coins, and Julia holding Euros!  Yay!  It was a nice lesson in my opinion :)

Don't judge me.  So today was another usual day at school.  I had to give two presentations and got cut off by the bell on both of them.  I also had a test which I did okay on but I made stupid mistakes but I don't really care.  After school, Julia and I went shopping with Mom and Grandma to Wal Mart because we are so cooolllll!!!  We both bought chapstick because I needed it and she didn't have a special kind in Germany so yeah.  Then we decided to rent Breaking Dawn from the redbox because we had both never seen it before and we wanted to watch it to make fun of it.  So here is a picture of Julia holding the movie with Grandma in the background :)  I didn't have any homework tonight because everything I had tomorrow got moved back to Wednesday and I'm going to be in Chicago on Wednesday so everything is due on Thursday for me!!  I also forgot to mention that we did tax returns and crap in econ today and I decided I'm just going to hire someone to do it for me because that was the most confusing thing of my life!!  Grrr.
Anyway, about the movie...it was definitely easy to make fun of because all the lines were really scripted and the acting was bad but it was an okay movie overall.  The ending was too drawn out and they should have made one whole movie instead of two parts but whatever.  I like babies so that's probably why I liked it :)  The baby was super cute!!!!  And the imprinting scene was super creepy!!!  And the soundtrack is pretty good...or at least the one song I know from it hahaha :)  I should reread the books because I seriously forgot everything that happened.  The end.  Now I'm going to bed!  Yay!

Happy 100th Anniversary of the Titanic Sinking Day!!!  To make us all happier, here's a cute picture of a baby bunny :)  AWWWW!!!  So today was a lazy day.  Mom made us breakfast this morning and then we just sat around for the rest of the day!  At around noonish, Dad called the house from the backyard saying that there was a baby bunny down by the barn and that he almost ran one over with a lawnmower and there was another one just siting there so Julia and I went down and this is the cute nugget we found :D  Here it is burying  in some grass:

And then eventually it hopped away under our dog house and Dad lifted the dog house up to find it again and we found three other baby bunnies there!!!  Except one disappeared by the time I took this picture:

OH MY GOODNESS!!!! I seriously cannot contain my excitement!!!  I asked Dad if we could keep him but he said no because they probably have a mommy bunny somewhere and they like being in the wild.  Then Julia and I decided to take a trip to the square and outside our house was a dead bunny on the road and I'm guessing it's the mommy bunny!!!!!!  But Dad still said we couldn't keep them :( 
Since today was the 100th anniversary of Titanic sinking, I decided to look it up because for some reason I like learning about disasters.  I like to imagine what it would be like in that situation!!!  INTENSE!!  That's what it would be like!  But here's the Wikipedia page.  A couple things:

1. The captain looks exactly the same as in the movie.

2. It's crazy how accurate the movie made some of the characters.

3. Did you see how many lifeboats there were and how many people survived?! UNACCEPTABLE!

4. I like the table towards the bottom of all the estimations of the types of people that died and such.

5. The picture of the gym makes me crack up hahaha :)

I find this stuff interesting, sorry if you don't!  Also, I'm disappointed in Google for not having an awesome picture on the homepage dedicated to Titanic.  Boo.  I was looking forward to that!

So Julia and I went to the square and just walked around because Julia wants souvenirs for her family but she doesn't know what to get.  Then we just came home and made the pretzels with the chocolate in the middle.  We ate dinner and then Julia and I sat on the couch and talked about German stuff.  It was going to storm today so we put Jersey's thundershirt on so naturally she looked like a lion.  While sitting on the pillow, she was dozing off and kept shutting her eyes so I took a picture of her looking cute/weird:

While Julia and I were talking, I was saying all the random German words I know and then at one point she kind of quizzed me on articles.  Then we heard the ice cream truck music and she said she had never seen one before so we quick got in my car and chased down the ice cream truck which wasn't that hard.  We ended up passing it twice and then we came home :)  Funny moment of the day goes to when Julia and I were playing DrawSomething and I drew her a picture of a cookie and when she tried to guess it she spelled "cooke_" then shouted "but there's no 'y'" hahaha I made fun of her :)  I did a little bit of homework and now I'm avoiding the rest of my homework and instead I'm going to go to bed!!  Pretty eventful day for a lazy day!

Happy Saturday!  I always feel like I have to start every blog post with a happy something but there's never anything exciting to say!  So Happy Saturday!  Today we went to Devil's Lake!  Mom made pancakes for breakfast because Julia wanted to try them and then we started on our journey at 9 am!  We got to the park around 11ish or something...I'm not really sure.  There were sooooo many bug things flying around us while we walked to the hiking trail it was ridiculous!!!  We couldn't open our mouths or else they would fly in and they were swarming Mom's coat so that it was covered!  It was pretty gross.  Also, to get to Devil's Lake, we took a ferry which is pictured here:

But before that we went to the bathroom which was like a toilet that led to a hole and Julia was scarred from both the bathroom and the bug experience hahaha :)  It was really funny :)  But she survived both experiences!  And both pictures above are very awkward haha :)  In the POD we have an awkward distance between us which we realized after we took the picture and in the ferry picture I look awkward so we retook them but the other two weren't that great either so I went with this one!  Anyway, we hiked to the top of the mountain/hills around Devil's Lake which looks something like this:

How beautiful!  This picture was taken before we got to the top so it's not of the whole lake but that's okay!  After we climbed to the top and went back down, we decided to stop for ice cream and then we drove to Lake Geneva to eat at Popeye's! (Not the fast food chain)  We were just all over Wisconsin today!  Also, you may have noticed that we are wearing the same shoes so of course I took a picture of that too :) :

Try to guess who's who!!!  Then we came home and I did homework for a little bit and then we decided to watch How to Train Your Dragon which is still as good as the first time I watched it!  I always forget how funny that movie is and how much the main dragon looks like Jersey :)  If you haven't seen it before, I definitely recommend it to anyone!!!  Now I'm going to bed and I'm going to sleep in and I'm going to like it!!

Happy Friday the 13th!!  I hope your day wasn't cursed at all!!!  My day was pretty tiresome because we got home so late from the Opera House last night and then I had to finish my homework.  Julia and the Germans were in Chicago today so her day was also very tiresome!!!  In English we did the book spine poetry again and I made a legit one this time instead of the funny one we made up last time :)  Here's the one I created and Mrs. Van even gave her approval!  Yay!:

It's kind of cheesy but I like it because education makes minds grow!!  AWWW!!!  Anyway, there were some other hilarious ones that people created like there was one about prostitution hahaha and Collin kept wanting to add the book Bad Kitty to the end of all the poems :)  So first period was pretty laid back.  By the end of the day I was OUT OF IT!  I seriously gave up in the middle of the math thing we were doing today and I feel bad because I just checked out on Cari and she was doing everything...sorry Cari!  But then I got to go home!!!  I ended up starting and finishing a paper I had been putting off for months and it's a piece of crap but that's okay because I don't think I could make it any better!  Then I went to tumbling and did pretty bad there and when I came home I saw Julia for the first time today haha :)  We had soup for dinner and then I decided to have crackers and nutella and then we decided to have bananas and nutella together and it was the first time I tried it so I took a picture of her showing me how to apply the nutella :) :

Yay! Haha :)  Then we decided to watch a movie as a family and we picked out Ratatouille which I love but I fell asleep during this watching which was sad :(  But I was just so tired!  Now I'm off to bed!  Ta ta for now!

Hello there!  Today was a pretty normal day which was okay!  I like Thursdays because that means I'm not doing anything after school!  Yay!  I'm getting frustrated with my teachers though because we've only started reviewing for AP tests in one class so far and it's the one class that I don't think I'm going to do very well on the AP test anyway!  But anyway, today at around 8ish, Mom, Dad, Julia, and I went to the Opera House to watch a dress rehearsal of Annie Get Your Gun.  Mom knew a person who was in the play and he was able to get us in to watch the dress rehearsal which is free!  There were a few other people there so it was really nice not having a lot of people!  The show was good and funny and there was a guy from the Wedding Singer play we watched a couple weeks ago in this play too!!  It's crazy how fast people learn their lines!!  We weren't allowed to take pictures in the Opera House so instead I just took a picture of the Opera House :)  It ended at 10:30ish and then we all headed home and went to sleep.  Except I had to finish my homework haha :)  But that's all!  If you live in my town, I recommend you to go see this show!!!

Today was a late start so my day was already a billion times better than yesterday!!!!!  During homeroom today, we had a senior assembly thing where they talked to us about different stuff and it was pretty boring and then we got to start the rest of the day.  Julia got to come with me the first three periods and then she got to go to the fire brigade!! haha She said it was boring and the guy talked too much :)  In study hall, they're currently testing but the librarian said I could stay there if there was absolutely no talking but Julia and I broke the rules and talked anyways haha oops :)  We whispered though so it's aight.  Then my day was pretty normal.  After school there was an NHS meeting which was my last one ever!  That means school's ending, friends!  Dad made grilled cheese for dinner and I had to head off to tumbling.  Wendy was sub-coaching tonight and she distracted me when I walked off the mat so I twisted my ankle tonight haha  It feels okay but I think it might hurt tomorrow :)  Tonight, Jersey was looking extra cute while Julia was petting her so I took a lot of pictures but most of them were dark so here is the best one I took awwww :D

So there is a reason this bagel is on graph paper and I took a picture of it....I'll start off by saying I had an okay day today.  For some unknown reason I kept getting really angry at random times and felt really annoyed with people but then I would calm down but then it would start up again later.  Gahh, I don't really know what happened...?  So anyway, after school, Julia decided to stay after to go to a softball game but I went home because I had a lot of homework that I have been putting off.  Today was a special day because I never do my math homework at home but I did today!!  Hence the bagel on graph paper!  This is actually a test he handed out but it was a take home test and we had to find household objects that we could use the washer method on and I chose the bagel.  I was actually pretty productive with my test except I ran into a problem for this particular problem because I couldn't solve for x....Then I also did my other math worksheet!  I was so proud of myself!!  Then I pretended to work on an essay but in reality I still skipped over it haha :)  Then I had to go pick Julia up from school.  She ended up getting really cold watching the game so she only saw a little bit of it hahaha :)  It was really windy out today and since I go to school in the middle of cornfields, that just makes it worse!  We had ham and potatoes for dinner and then I went to dance and Mom and Julia drove me because they were going shopping!  And Julia bought stuff from Old Navy because it's the cutest store ever!!!  That's pretty much my day.  Tomorrow's a late start!  Hoorah!

HAPPY 100TH BLOG E'REBODY!!!!!  If you've been here since number 1 then I salute you!!!  Thanks for reading, friends :)  So today Julia came with me to school and followed me to most of my classes except for the super boring ones so that's okay!  We watched our psych video in psych today and it was super awkward and then other people performed skits that were more awkward than ours so it's all good :)  All I'll say is that there was a Freud skit and I took a picture but it was highly inappropriate :)  Then the rest of the day was pretty normal!  When we got home, Julia and I just talked until dinner happened and then we ate and talked some more.  Then Mom and Dad went to Mindy's house but I stayed home to do homework.  I didn't do any homework and instead Julia and I talked and then watched Kelley's YouTube videos and then we talked some more and more and more haha :)  She kept saying she needed to take a shower and at one point she helped me learn a smidgeon of German and then she was looking up certain English words on her ipod.  I needed a picture so I took this one and she hid behind her ipod so that's how this happened :)  It was a pretty great/unproductive day haha :)

Happy Easter!!  Today we went over to my auntie's house for brunch!  I decided to wear the dressy I bought on Friday when we went to the mall!  Isn't it so cute?!?  Yesterday, Mom dressed the goose up in Easter attire so I took a picture of it today! :

I showed Matt a picture of it because he loves it and he especially loved this one too! ;)  hahaha  Also, Julia brought a box of Easter candy from Germany with her and she gave it to us today!  It was really good!  There was also a bow hiding somewhere in the box so I decided to attach it to Jersey to make her look more feminine and Eastery!  Here's the cute pup:

Awwww :)  Her rolls are kind of covering the bow in the picture...:).  After the two above pictures happened, that's when we headed over to my aunt's house!  Jill made the most amazing potatoes in the world which was what my brunch mainly consisted of!  Then there were two casseroles, some fruit salad, some muffins, and other bread product things.  There was a point at brunch where more than half the table was playing DrawSomething but unfortunately I left my phone at home so I could not join in :(  All the cousins sat at the kids' table but we all agreed we like it there and that we hope it stays that way forever :)  Our family brought a lamb cake which was kind of creepy looking so here is a picture of that:

Then we decided to go outside to take cute pictures!!!  The POD was taken by a tree in Jill's backyard and then we also took some jumping pictures but most of them failed except for the first one we took which didn't even turn out that well either haha:

Yay!  I was afraid that my dress would simultaneously fly up and fall down so it was kind of scary haha :)  Then we took more pictures by the cornfield and just sat around and talked about stuff until it was time to leave.  Kelley and Kyle both went home today and I finished Invisible Man which was okay I guess but I kind of feel like it was a waste of my life...so, yeah.  But it's the number one most cited on the AP test so at least I have read it!  Now I'll try to go to bed I guess!

Today a lot of things happened!  So I woke up and read a little bit because I have a lot of reading to do by Monday and Julia joined me :)  Then Kelley came home right before I finished my chapter and we all decided to eat breakfast after this happened.  Then Kelley face timed Justin and we just kind of sat there before I finished my chapter and took a shower.  I showed Julia the creek in our backyard and then we went on a very short bike ride so I could show her around town but since town is very small, it was short.  When we got home we played Just Dance for the length of three songs and then we had lasagna for dinner!  Then after dinner Kelley, Julia, and I decided to go see Titanic in 3D!!!  We left right after dinner and got there at a perfect time!  The theater was really empty though.  Here's a picture of the poster:

I was really excited to see this not because it would be in 3D but because I didn't get a chance to see it last time it was in theaters because I was like 2 or something.  And it was great on the big screen!  The 3D was kind of a waste of my life but that's okay!  We decided to take a cool mustache picture in our glasses because we all looked very secretive :)  The guy in front of us kept turning around and staring at us while we were waiting for the previews to start.  Stupid man.  Also, he got up at least five times during the movie, ugh.  The movie was as great as ever though!  I almost cried and Julia did cry and then we stayed during the credits and sang "My Heart Will Go On" and it was beautiful!  That ending scene in the movie gets me every time!  SOOOO BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!  Ahhh, Leo :)  Then we came home and stayed up until 1:30 talking and then went to bed.  Kyle came home at 10ish while we were at the theater so now he is home too!

Happy Good Friday!!  Today I had the day off of school since it was Good Friday!  Yay!  I like having four day weeks!  Mom decided to take the day off of work so that she, Julia, and I could go to a mall!  We left at 10ish and then had time to shop until about 4ish and then we headed back home after eating at Panera and DQ.  It was delicious but I had to go tumbling after that so it kind of made me nauseous haha :)  Julia came to tumbling with me which I think must be pretty boring but she was nice and said it wasn't :).  After we came home, we ate dinner and then decided to watch a movie.  Since I only watched part I of Avatar the day I went to pick up Julia, I suggested we watch the whole thing and Julia said she had never watched it so it was perfect!!!  So we watched Avatar!  Here's a picture of our awesome DVD case!  After the movie, it was like 11:30 at night so we all decided to go to bed!  Yay!

Yay!!!  Today was very uneventful I guess.  The Germans went to Chicago today so it was a pretty normal day compared to the rest of the week.  It was our last day of school for the week so that was exciting!!!  In psych, we're doing a project and me and my group picture above got assigned to do this guy who studied morality.  Our project is to create a skit where we act out our psychologist's theories and explain them and everything but since three out of four of us are horrible actresses, we decided it would be better to do this in movie format so that we could keep redoing it if we started laughing :)  Katie ended up doing some pretty insane stuff mainly because the rest of us were telling her to haha :)  We think the video is hilarious but we think nobody else will find it funny :)  So anyway, they came over to my house after school and we filmed our whole video!  We took a dinner break because Mom made fettuccine and then we took a field trip to pick Julia up from the train station!  Yay!  Then we finished the rest of the movie and they went home at around 8:30ish!  Then I did some homework because I have a ton this weekend for some reason...boo :(  Tomorrow we're going to a mall!  Yay!
